My interest in ceramics bloomed after taking classes through Inspirations Studios, an inclusive studio space which supports women from marginalized communities within the GTA. The cost of public classes goes directly back into the studio, providing essential materials and giving back to their community. This studio has provided me with a safe and comfortable learning environment. I've taken several classes and always felt that I had the freedom to use my own creativity while working on projects. Through these classes I have become confident in throwing clay on both an electric and pedal wheel, in addition to hand-building and a variety of glazing techniques.
